So, my brother has been bugging me to put all the bits and pieces I have about nutrition in one place and he kindly set this blog up for me, so I thought I should at least have a go. After all, it might beat rambling e-mails and scribbles on bits of paper - which currently I seem to find myself doing every time someone asks me about food! I must emphasize that I have no formal background in nutrition or any training - I simply have been involved in various sports at all sorts of levels for the last 20 years or so, and with a memory like a rollerdex, and an ever busy kitchen (usually containing one or more hungry friends dedicated to sport of one form or another) I've gathered together a bunch of information along the way.
